PAN Aadhar Link: Dear Pan Card holders, it is mandatory to link your PAN with Aadhar before the deadline. If you are unable or not to link your PAN Aadhar, your PAN may be deactivated or inoperative after the deadline. CBDT Government of India issued an advisory for all PAN Card holders to link their PAN aadhar.
The fee for a PAN Aadhar link is ₹ 1000 which is imposed by the Income Tax Department, Government of India. The deadline for the PAN Aadhar link was 31 March 2022 without any late fee or penalty.
After 31 March 2022, you can link your PAN Aadhar with a penalty of ₹ 500 for a 1-year timeline, after that ₹ 1000 is the penalty charge for the PAN Aadhar link before the deadline.
How to link aadhar to PAN?

Step 04. Now click on the ‘Validate’ button after that you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Step 05. Now you need to pay ₹ 1000 penalty charges for PAN Aadhar link to Income Department through UPI/Debit card/Credit Card or Net Banking.
- After successful payment on ePay Tax, you will be able to link your PAN aadhar. After following this process check your PAN Aadhar Link Status on e filing portal.
How to check pan is linked with aadhar?
Step 01. Visit e filing portal official website of the income tax department.
Step 02. Now go to ‘Quick Link’ section on the homepage then click on ‘Link Aadhar Status’
Step 03. Enter your PAN number and Aadhar number for the PAN Aadhar link.
Step 04. Now click on the ‘View Link Aadhar Status’ button after that you will receive a PopUP on your screen.

- Non-citizen / NRI (According to Income Tax Act 1961 )
- Who are 80 years of age or older.
- A resident of Assam, J&K, Meghalaya Union Territories.
